Powder Coating

All panels are finished with architect-grade powder coating — colored powder is applied electrostatically and cured at high temperature. This creates a durable, even finish that outperforms traditional paint.

Our powder coating is specifically formulated for outdoor architectural applications.

  • UV-resistant — won't fade in sunlight
  • Weather-proof — withstands rain, snow, humidity
  • Scratch-resistant surface
  • Even, consistent color coverage
  • Environmentally friendly process
  • Long-lasting durability

Weather Performance

Our materials and finishes are engineered to perform in the demanding climates of Canada and the United States.

☀️

UV Resistance

Powder coating blocks UV rays, preventing fading even in direct sunlight.

🌧️

Rain & Humidity

Aluminum won't rust. Powder coating seals the surface against moisture.

❄️

Snow & Cold

Materials maintain integrity in freezing temperatures. No cracking or warping.

💨

Wind Resistance

Thicker gauges (3/16", 1/4") recommended for high-wind areas.

🌊

Coastal / Salt Air

Aluminum resists salt corrosion, suitable for coastal installations.

🔥

Heat Resistance

Metal panels won't warp or deform in near high heat.

Maintenance

Our aluminum panels require minimal maintenance. The powder-coated surface is easy to clean and maintains its appearance with simple care.

  • Rinse with water to remove dust and debris
  • Use mild soap for stubborn dirt
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers
  • No painting, sealing, or treatment required
  • Inspect mounting hardware annually

Longevity: With proper installation and basic maintenance, our aluminum panels are designed to last for many years without fading, rusting, or structural degradation.

Materials FAQ

Do aluminum panels rust?

No — aluminum does not rust. It's naturally corrosion-resistant and our powder coating provides additional protection.

What's the difference between steel and aluminum?

Steel is heavier and more rigid but can rust. Aluminum is lighter, rust-proof, and is recommended for outdoor applications.

Can I get a custom color?

Yes, we offer custom RAL colors for an additional charge. Provide the RAL code and we'll match it for your project.

What thickness do I need?

1/8" works for most panels and screens. 3/16" is recommended for gates, large panels, or high-wind areas. 1/4" for heavy-duty applications — anything higher is only needed if specified in project requirements.

Is the powder coating durable?

Yes — our outdoor-grade powder coating is UV-resistant, weather-resistant, and scratch-resistant. Designed for long-term outdoor performance.

Can panels be used near pools?

Yes, aluminum panels are ideal for pool areas.
